Government forces guarding the Deir al-Zour airbase fired rockets on explosive-laden tanks operated by ISIS militants, destroying them before they reached the gates of the base, state news agency SANA reported Thursday.

Many ISIS terrorists were killed in their latest attempt to breach the Airbase.

yesterday, the army and armed forces units established full control over the road linking Aleppo, Khanaser, Athriya and al- Salamiyeh, after inflicting heavy losses on the ISIS terrorist organization in personnel and equipment.

This successes in the south-western countryside of Aleppo ended up with a state of collapse in the ranks of terrorist groups in the region, a military source told SANA.

This road is the main supply line leading into government-controlled quarters of Aleppo after it was cut by ISIS on October 23.
