In the meeting to mark the martyrdom of Brigadier General Hossein Hamedani Mohsen Rezaei vowed that ISIL Takfiri Terrorist group will be buried in Iraq and Syria.
Speaking at a local meeting to mark the martyrdom of Brigadier General Hossein Hamedani in Syria, he said, "General Hamedani was a brave commander of the Islamic fronts who was the flag bearer of the dignity of Islam and Muslims beside the holy shrine of Hazrat Zeinab (SA)."
"Our nation is living in peace and must know that hundreds of incidents and conspiracies of enemies threatened our country which were overcome by brave people like him," said the former IRGC commander referring to the martyr's lifetime activities against the regime of shah, during the Saddam-imposed war and in the fight against terrorists in Iraq and Syria.
General Hamedani was killed last Thursday during anti-Daesh operation near the Syrian city of Aleppo; IRNA reported.
