Coalition forces target a facility near Mosul that is purportedly used by so-called “Islamic State” terrorist group militants to produce car bombs on Thursday evening.

The unidentified security official, quoted by Iraqi official media, said three bases where ISIS maintained “substantial military resources” were completely destroyed, including storage houses for ammunition and a number of vehicles, Reuters reports.

This car bomb factory located in areas south of Kirkuk, from where ISIS frequently launches attacks against Peshmerga positions inside the city.

In this attack at least 17 terrorist of the ISIS group were killed, Rudaw quoted, an Iraqi security official said.
