Saudi-led coalition fighter jets target the residence of the Omani ambassador in Yemen’s capital Sana’a.
According to the Arabic-language Saba News Agency, a Yemeni security official said Saudi warplanes bombed the districts of al-Nahdin and al-Sabin in Sana'a on Friday night.
The airstrikes seriously damaged the Omani ambassador's home and nearby houses in al-Sabin district.
Saudi Arabia has been striking Yemen for 178 days now to restore power to Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh. The Saudi-led aggression has so far killed at least 6,012 Yemenis, including hundreds of women and children.
Hadi stepped down in January and refused to reconsider the decision despite calls by Ansarullah revolutionaries of the Houthi movement.
Despite Riyadh’s claims that it is bombing the positions of the Ansarullah fighters, Saudi warplanes are flattening residential areas and civilian infrastructures.
