Foreign Ministry Deputy for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir Abdollahian criticized the continuing Saudi Arabia aggression against Yemen during the Hajj time.
Talking to IRNA on Sunday, he said the ongoing aggression by the Saudi government against the Muslim nation of Yemen at the time of annual Hajj pilgrimage time is a token of its lack of wisdom.
He said it also indicated the Saudi disrespect to constructive diplomacy and peace.
Stressing that there are no military solutions to Yemen crisis, the foreign ministry official said Tehran has already introduced proper political mechanisms to help Riyadh out of Yemen dilemma.
He said Iran supported national dialogue among all groups in Yemen.
Amir Abdollahian said the United Nations efforts in sending humanitarian aid to Yemen, removing human besiege, war, and bloodshed there have all fallen flat because of Saudi refusal to help as well as the dubious silence of certain Arab and western countries.
