The airstrikes late on Monday involved 35 F-16 and 18 F-4 aircraft, the report said.
The PKK has bases in the Qandil mountain range in northern Iraq.
Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, speaking after the Sunday attack in the south-east, pledged the area would be "cleaned of terrorists."
Meanwhile, a fresh PKK attack in eastern Turkey left one police officer dead and two wounded, the Dogan news agency reported.
16 Turkish police officers were killed when their minivan was blown up by a planted roadside explosive device in the country’s southeastern province of Iğdır, Hurriyet newspaper reported Tuesday citing local authorities.
The Turkish state has been involved in armed conflict with the PKK since 1984.
A two-year ceasefire broke down in July and since then more than 150 people have been killed inside Turkey, in addition to an unclear number of casualties in northern Iraq.
