Zulu, an 36 kilogram giant tortoise was spotted crawling slowly down the street prompting neighbors to call police.

Miramar police posted photos of the tortoise on social media, hoping for Zulu's family to respond.
Four hours after the tortoise was spotted, his owners contacted the police after seeing his photos online.

Owners of the seasoned escapee say they are planning to place a tracking device on the runaway tortoise.
