At the meeting held in Tehran on Monday, the two sides conferred on bilateral, regional and international issues.
The Iranian minister hoped for closer cooperation between the two sides in political, economic, energy, agriculture, parliamentary, cultural, scientific and academic fields.
Zarif also welcomed a proposal by Dacic for the holding of the Iran-Serbia Joint Economic Commission, and said, “To that end, an economic delegation from Iran’s different government and private sectors will head for Belgrade in the future.”
The Serbian minister, for his part, voiced Belgrade’s preparedness to open a new chapter in the ties with the Islamic Republic in the political, economic, and parliamentary fields.
He felicitated Iran on the conclusion of nuclear talks between Tehran and six world powers (the United States, Britain, France, China, Russia and Germany) in the Austrian capital Vienna last month.
