A security source in Anbar province said, that a senior ISIS leader was killed during violent clashes in south of Fallujah.
The source told Al-Alam News Network, “A force belonging to the Rapid Intervention Forces had managed to repel an ISIS attack on the army sites in south of Fallujah,” adding that, “Violent clashes between the two sides resulted in killing the key ISIS leader Abu Sarah al-Obeidi.”
Security forces were able to destroy two vehicles that were carrying heavy weapons, and forced the rest of the militants to withdraw.
