At least 13 Yemeni people were killed by Saudi aerial attacks across Yemen, after a so-called UN-brokered ceasefire came into effect, Al-Alam News Network reports.
According to media reports, the kingdom's air raids targeted two oil tankers and a vehicle in the Southern province of al-Bayda late on Saturday and killed 8 people, including women and children.
Earlier in the day, similar attacks were carried out in the Southern province of Dhale in which two people were killed and two others injured.
Additionally, two children were killed after Saudi fighter jets hit residential areas in the Southwestern province of Ta'izz.
Meanwhile, one person was killed after Saudi jets bombarded the Abs district of the province of Hajjah overnight.
Earlier, the Sahar district of Sa’ada Province as well as several areas in the capital, Sana’a, and a residential complex in the city of Ta’izz came under Saudi attacks.
The UN announced on Thursday that a humanitarian truce would come into force in Yemen to allow the delivery of urgently needed aid to civilians.
The ceasefire came into force at 23:59 local time (2059 GMT) on Friday and was due to run up to the end of the holy month of Ramadan on July 17. But Saudi Arabia has repeatedly violated the ceasefire.
