Officials of Iran, US and the European Union resumed talks on Friday morning to narrow down differences and complete drafting the agreement and appendixes in two levels, Al-Alam News Network reports.
In one level, Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif and the US Secretary of State John Kerry and EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini were the parties in the talks dealing with the differences for which political decision need to be made.
While in the second level, Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali-Akbar Salehi and the US Secretary of Energy Ernest Moniz held a separate talks on Thursday evening to deal with the technical appendix to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
On Friday, Moniz, an American with a Portuguese origin, will go to Lisbon, to receive medal of honor from Portuguese government but will return to Vienna again to continue nuclear talks.
