Recent developments in nuclear negotiations may signal that the talks for drafting the text of final nuclear deal is entering a new level.

After four rounds of negotiations between Iran's Deputy Foreign Ministers Abbas Araqchi and Majid Takht-e Ravanchi and the EU Political Director Helga Schmid on Wednesday, US Under-Secretary for Political Affairs Wendy Sherman joined the negotiations for drafting the text of final nuclear deal on Thursday to promote the game to a new phase.

Sherman will have bilateral talks with Araqchi and Ravanchi and in the meantime will hold trilateral talks with Iran's deputy foreign ministers and Schmid during this round of talks.

This round of talks between Iran's deputy foreign ministers and EU political director would continue till Friday.

Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his American counterpart John Kerry are set to meet in the Swiss city of Geneva on Saturday.

Consultations between Zarif and Kerry will help narrow differences between Tehran and the P5+1 countries over writing the text of a final agreement, IRNA reported.

All these political developments prove the fact that all sides are serious to make the deal and draft the final comprehensive agreement.

Araqchi, Ravanchi and Schmid held three rounds of talks in Vienna as well as other separate talks in New York last Iranian month in order to draft the text of final comprehensive deal.

Representatives of Iran and the P5+1 countries began their latest round of talks on drafting the text of a final deal over Tehran’s nuclear program in the Austrian capital of Vienna on Wednesday.

Earlier in the day, Araqchi, who is now in Vienna for talks with representatives of the P5+1 group, said the two sides are working on a timetable to synchronize their undertakings after a final accord is clinched.

The senior Iranian nuclear negotiator said the Islamic Republic would only accept an agreement whose details are “favorable” to Tehran.

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei says Iranian officials must stand firm on the country’s stance during nuclear negotiations with the P5+1 countries to secure the nation's interests.

“On the nuclear issues, [Iran’s] stance is the same as we have explicitly announced; the very same points have been announced to authorities verbally and in writing. These are the fundamental positions of the Islamic establishment,” Ayatollah Khamenei said in a Wednesday meeting with Iranian Parliament (Majlis) Speaker Ali Larijani and lawmakers.

Iran and the P5+1 group – the United States, Britain, France, Russia and China plus Germany – wrapped up their latest round of talks in Vienna on May 22.

The two sides have set July 30 as the deadline for a final deal.
