The first test of SpaceX's Crew Dragon spacecraft took place from Florida today at 2pm BST (9am EDT).

Photos from NASA TV shows the SpaceX Dragon spaceship drifting down for an ocean landing after the first test of the Dragon's flight abortion system off Cape Canaveral, Florida.

The entire flight test was over in less than two minutes, with the spacecraft hitting a height of 1,500 meters, then jettisoning its trunk before falling into the Atlantic Ocean about 2,200 meters away from the launch pad.
