Past Friday Al Shabaab gunmen stormed Garissa University College killing at least 147 people on Thursday, in the worst attack on Kenyan soil.

Kenyan fighter jets on Monday bombed two camps of the Al-Qaeda-linked al Shebab insurgents in southern Somalia, the army said, days after the extremist carried out their worst ever massacre in Kenya.

"We bombed two al Shebab camps in the Gedo region," Kenyan army spokesman David Obonyo told AFP.
