The source said “Elements of the ISIS group beheaded a colonel and a captain in the Iraqi army, after raiding their houses in Shura area south of Mosul.”
The source, who requested anonymity, added, “The terrorist group executed the officers for collaborating with the security forces.”
The ISIS group has executed many people during the past period, including doctors and military personnel, because of their refusal to vow alliance to it.
Also local source in Nineveh says, the ISIS group elements executed a former candidate for the provincial elections in central Mosul.
He was candidate from the list of Motahidon in the provincial elections in downtown Mosul.
Elements of the ISIS group kidnapped a candidate from her house in Qayyarah district south of Mosul in the past months.
But it isnt only crime of ISIL. According to the Head of the Women’s Rights Defense Committee in the Kurdistan of Iraq parliament, About 500 Yazidi women have been rescued from ISIS out of an estimated 4,000 in captivity.
Speaking on Sunday, Evar Ibrahim said 157 women of the 500 rescued are in bad psychological and physical condition and are receiving treatment in Duhok.
ISIS militants overran the predominantly Yazidi district of Sinjar in August 2014, sending hundreds of Yazidis fleeing up Mount Sinjar.
Hundreds more were captured, enslaved, or killed by militants.
Some of the women captives are believed to have been sold in Tal Afar, Iraq and in the ISIS-stronghold of Raqqa in Syria.
Hundreds and possibly thousands of Kurdish Yazidi women and girls have been forced to marry or been sold into sexual slavery by the ISIS according to Amnesty International.
However in the north of country the top Kurdish ISIS leader, reportedly responsible for the death of dozens of Kurdish civilians, was killed in coalition air strikes in Mosul, the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) said Sunday.
“Ziad Salim Mohammad Ali al-Kurdi, the top ethnically Kurdish ISIS leader, has been killed by US-led coalition airstrikes last night in Mosul,” the KRG’s National Security Council said in a statement, RUDAW reports.
al-Kurdi, who was “also known as Mansur, had joined the al-Qaida terrorist group in 2004 and later affiliated with ISIS and “had been in charge of several terrorist operations,” including assaults on the Kurdish towns of Gwer and Makhmur, near Erbil.
