Iran Reject "Journalistic Speculation" on Nuclear Talk’s Deal

While news agency outlets according to unnamed diplomats reporting on “provisional agreement on key elements of Iran deal”, Iranian diplomats denied that any tentative agreement on these points has been struck, saying that any reports of specific number of centrifuges and exporting its stockpiles were "journalistic speculation".

AFP reported that Iran and six world powers have reached provisional agreement on key parts of a deal on Tehran's nuclear programme, Western diplomats in talks in Switzerland said Sunday.

One of these diplomats said Iran had "more or less" agreed to slash the number of its centrifuge machines by more than two-thirds and to ship abroad most of its stockpile of nuclear material.

But Iran rejects claims by Associated Press.A member of the Iranian nuclear negotiating team on Sunday rejected claims by the Associated Press about Iran nuclear talks, IRNA reports.

He said the report by the AP contains imprecise points, including the alleged transfer of uranium from Iran to Russia.

He said the release of such reports by certain Western media aims to hamper the diplomatic efforts underway in Lausanne.

He described AP's move as 'useless and unprofessional'.

Meanwhile Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif resumed talks on Sunday with German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi on issues pertaining to Iran's nuclear program.

This is the second round of talks between Zarif and his German counterpart during Saturday and Sunday.

Prior to the meeting, French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius met with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi.

Iran and US negotiating teams had a one hour talks this morning believed to be of importance in summing up key points.
