Jasem Emwazi, 51, lives in northern Kuwait, where he managed a farm supplies depot.
But he is said to have quit on Tuesday after his eldest child Mohammed was identified as the notorious ISIS executioner.
However, a Kuwaiti security expert said yesterday the country would act on any formal request from Britain for Mr Emwazi to be sent back or interviewed by British police.
