According to a statement issued by Iraq's Ministry of Defense, the fighter jets bombarded the meeting of the ISIS leaders on the back of information gained via an intelligence operation conducted by the Iraqi military at Al-Qa'im near the Syrian border at 11:25 a.m. Thursday.
Yesterday media outlets reporting a number of prominent ISIS operatives were killed in intensive air-strikes by the US-led coalition against the terrorist group in the Iraqi town of al-Qaim near the Syrian border.
It was not clear if ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was injured in the strikes, however he reportedly was en route to the area.

Another video released by US Central Command on Monday shows what they say is an airstrike on Thursday on a car bomb planted by the militant group ISIS.
The US military said: "The video depicts an airstrike against an ISIL VBIED near Sinjar, Iraq.
