"Secretary Kerry will meet with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in Munich, Germany on Saturday to discuss the ongoing nuclear negotiations," a senior state department official said.
Meanwhile Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said on Thursday that many countries have established active economic cooperation with Iran and the UN sanctions have nothing to do with Iranian economic ties with the outside world, IRNA reports.
Moreover A senior Iranian foreign ministry official promised Iran will increase the number of uranium enrichment centrifuges if the United States imposes new sanctions.
Foreign Ministry deputy for Political and International Security Affairs Hamid Baedinejad made the statements in a news conference at the Iranian embassy in Moscow on Wednesday, Itar-Tass reported.
"Naturally, it is a source of concern for everyone. It is a return to a situation from which no one is going to benefit. Iran will certainly go ahead with its nuclear program (in case of new US sanctions). We are going to install more centrifuges",he said.
"Negotiations on the Iran nuclear program with the six world powers (five permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany) have reached an important and sensitive stage", he added.
"At this point, we’ve decided to expand cooperation with Russia," Iranian Foreign Ministry official said.
The Iranian official arrived in Moscow on Wednesday leading a delegation to discuss Iran’s nuclear talks with Russian officials.
