Iranian border guards have arrested three terrorist leaders who were trying to illegally enter the country.

Iran’s Minister of Intelligence Seyyed Mahmoud Alavi announced late Wednesday that the terrorists were tracked down by forces of the Border Regiment as they were trying to cross into the Iranian territory.

“The three arrested were planning to carry out a suicide operation in religious gatherings,” Alavi said.

Iran accuses the United States, Britain and Israel of orchestrating such terrorist attacks on Iranian citizens and officials. Suspects arrested by security forced have admitted to having links to CIA, Mossad and MI6.
