Today morning in capital at another attack a suicide bomber targeting a NATO convoy in on the Jalalabad road in Kabul has killed one civilian and wounded three others in an attack on Monday morning, according to an Afghan official.

NATO in Afghanistan confirmed that one of its vehicles was attacked in the Afghan capital, adding that there were no immediate reports of any casualties among members of the military coalition, known as ISAF.

Another suicide bomber targeted an Afghan army patrol in the eastern Nangarhar province, killing two civilians, Afghan officials said.

Taliban insurgents claimed responsibility for the attack. The insurgents have stepped up attacks against Afghan security forces in a bid to undermine the government as foreign combat troops prepare to withdraw from Afghanistan by the end of the year.
