The majority of the arrests took place in East al-Quds and the city of al-Khalil (Hebron), which is located in the south of the occupied West Bank, the NGO, based in Ramallah, said in a statement.
Many were arrested during demonstrations against Israel’s 50-day terror campaign on the impoverished, besieged Gaza Strip.
According to the NGO, at least 2,000 Palestinians have been questioned and detained by Israeli forces since June.
More than 2,130 Palestinians, including around 570 children, were killed in Israel’s recent deadly aggression on the Gaza Strip. Some 11,000 others have been wounded.
According to the United Nations over 80 percent of the killed Palestinians were civilians.
