A court banned the Muslim Brotherhood itself in September, but that ruling did not mention its political wing, leaving open the possibility that it could be allowed to run in parliamentary elections.
Saturday's ruling effectively bans the Brotherhood from formal participation in electoral politics.
Then-army chief Abdel Fattah el-Sisi launched his crackdown on the movement after ousting former president Mohamed Morsi last year following mass protests against his rule.
Sisi, who took office as president in June, has said the Brotherhood, a popular political movement in Egypt, will cease to exist in his presidency.
