The Egyptian official working for the Suez Canal Authority further described the passage of the Israeli warships as “an ordinary transit that happens each year,” The Palestine Information Center reported Sunday.

The source also noted that the Zionist regime’s naval warships crossed the canal under heavy security protection, claiming that there is no connection between the passage of the Israeli naval force and the ongoing Zionist deadly attacks against the Palestinian population of the besieged Gaza Strip.

The Egyptian source added that the Israeli warships were loaded with 19 tons of military equipment, further claiming that the weight was two tons less than previous volume of military hardware transported by the Zionist naval force through the Suez in the past two years.
