Hamas, in view of its relations with Morsi’s Muslim Brotherhood, agreed to the truce based on special status and imposed its conditions on the Israel regime.
Before the 2012 truce, Egypt’s former intelligence chief Omar Suleiman played a mediation role between Israel and Hamas.
According to the 2012 agreement, Israel agreed to reopen Kerem Shalom border crossing and extend fishery zone of the besieged Gaza Strip by three knots. Now, we should wait to see how Israel will end its strikes on Gaza.
In a recent interview with Beirut-based Al Mayadeen, President of Palestinian Unity Government Mahmoud Abbas said, “Israel does not consider Palestinians as human to be anxious” about killing them. He was responding to a question by the Arabic news channel on the reaction of Israel to the high number of civilian casualties in its ongoing attacks on Gaza.
Therefore, the so-called peace talks between Abbas and the Israeli regime likely will be ended and the resistance of Palestinians will increase in the future.
Now, the fighters of Hamas’ military wing, Al-Qassam Brigades and the Islamic Jihad are not the only ones to resist Israel. Even the scope of resistance will be extended to other parts of the occupied lands.

On July 8, as in the past, Israel launched another attack on Gaza but the resistance will decide on the time and condition for ending the imposed war. The question is whether Israel will launch a ground invasion into Gaza or, because of increasing the insecurity to its cities and key centers such as Dimona nuclear plant, it will use a pretext to find a way to end the war?
The fact is that all military equipment of the Gazan resistance groups are under the ground. Since 2012, Hamas prepared all means to defend Gaza against Israel. So it is prepared for ground battle with the Tel Aviv regime in Gaza.
Without any doubt, if Israel launches a ground invasion into Gaza, it will face a deadly condition and the danger of the arrest of its solders.
The Israel regime is under criticism by its public opinion after US-funded Iron Dome missile system has once again proved vulnerable after failing to intercept retaliatory rockets fired by the Palestinians deep into the occupied territories.
Therefore, it seems that no Israeli military general will be prepared to repeat the 2006 war against Lebanese resistance group Hezbollah and replicate another military scandal.
In the past decades, the armies of Arab countries were defeated against Israel in less than five days, but today the Palestinian and Lebanese resistance groups impose their will on the Israeli offenders. Now, Gaza stands against aggressive policies of Israel and its allies on the behalf of all Muslim and Arab countries.
