Syria's state TV aired shocking confessions of a senior member of the al-Nusra Front terrorist group, revealing the role of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Israel, the US and the UK as well as some extremist muftis in supporting and arming terrorists operating in the Arab country.

According to the confessions of the captive terrorist Baher Abdul Karim Elvis, Saudi Arabia is the main supporter of the al-Nusra Front terrorist group.

“The extremist muftis Yusuf al-Qaradawi and Mohamad al-Arefe are in constant contact with the leaders of al-Nusra Front,” twenty-six-year-old Elvis said.

“I joined a terrorist group propagating extremist beliefs. The group was connected to the extremist muftis Yusuf al-Qaradawi and Mohamad al-Arefe as well as Saudi, Qatari, Israeli, American and British officers and officials,” Elvis added.

Officials and security officers from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the US and the UK called me on numerous occasions and I conveyed the details of the talks to the leader of my group “Sheikh Mazher”, he went on.

Sheikh Mazher took me to the main military training base of al-Nusra Front in Deir al-Zour province. There I found explosive-laden vehicles and anti-aircraft missiles as well as armed nationals from some Arab and Western countries, the captive said.

Saudi Arabia was the staunch supporter of the al-Nusra Front terrorist group. Saudi regime used food aids as a cover to send arms to militants in Syria via Turkey. The arms shipments were distributed among the terrorists in different areas, including Deir al-Zour, Raqqa and Aleppo, he added.

Following Mohamad al-Arefe’s issuing of “Jihad al-Nikah” (sexual Jihad) decree, a lot of girls and women from various countries, in particular Tunisia, were sent to Syria.
