"The terrorist explosion in Haraqi village in Homs province was caused by a tanker truck bomb. The initial toll says 10 people were killed, and major damage was caused to houses," the television station reported on Monday.
Syrian militant groups' rocket fire on government-controlled areas of Aleppo also killed 50 civilians over the weekend, the so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on Monday.
The group said the death toll from the attacks by the militants included nine children.
The attacks come a day before Syria’s presidential election which militants have warned they will step up attacks to disrupt the voting process.
