A Lebanese Army unit has raided a house in the southern city of Sidon, seizing explosives from the place amid persisting terrorist bombing campaign in the country by foreign-backed Takfiri elements.
The Saturday morning development was reported by the state National News Agency (NNA), which also identified the owner of the house as Mahmoud Khalaf.
According to the report, Khalaf was not home at the time of the raid by Lebanese security forces and still remains at large.
The NNA, however, has described Khalaf only as “an Islamist” without referring to his affiliations or past records.
