Mansour said that Israel had deployed surveillance devices along Lebanon's southern border, al-Joumhouria newspaper reported on Thursday.
The minister said he had sent a CD containing details of alleged bugging operations by Israel to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
"This is a flagrant violation of international law and relevant international conventions, particularly resolution 1701," Mansour was quoted as saying in his letter to Ban.
“The complaint was delayed in order to enable us to complete the file after the security agencies and the Lebanese army intelligence, alongside the Telecommunications Ministry, worked on gathering all the information and preparing a complete case,” Mansour noted.
Mansour says he sent similar letters to the foreign ministers of the UN Security Council member-states, the secretary-general of the Arab League, the secretary-general of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the head of the Non-Aligned Movement, and the European Union's high representative for foreign affairs and security policy.
Last November, Lebanese parliamentary speaker Nabih Berri accused the Zionist regime of having deployed surveillance devices along Lebanon's border.
According to a Daily Star report in November, the Committee on Assessing the Dangers of the Israeli Telecomm Towers in Lebanese Territory delivered a detailed review of Israel’s latest spying activities, including recently erected spying stations.
