Israeli regime's President Shimon Peres, in a rare event, secretly addressed the foreign ministers of 29 Arabic and Muslim countries at the Persian Gulf States Security Summit in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates two weeks ago, Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth has reported.

The foreign ministers of Bahrain, the UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Yemen, Qatar as well as foreign ministers from other Muslim countries, such as Indonesia, Malaysia and Bangladesh, were present at the meeting.

The king of Saudi Arabia's son was also present at the conference.

Sitting in his office with an Israeli flag behind him, Peres addressed the participants of the Summit via a videoconference.

Terje-Roed Larsen, UN-Under Secretary-General, and Martin Indyk, US Special Envoy for Israeli-Palestinian Negotiations were also sitting in front of Peres.

Sitting on the stage, Larsen interviewed Peres, who answered directly to Larsen and not to the Muslim foreign ministers.

When the president spoke, no minister left the room, and when he finished they even gave him a round of applause, the report claims.

Arab nations have not made any comments on the report.
