On Saturday, a Muslim Brotherhood-led coalition offered holding negotiations to put an end to deadly turmoil across the country.
The coalition of Islamic parties has also called on all political parties and patriotic figures as well as revolutionary forces to enter discussions to end the ongoing crisis.
"We have no conditions, and neither should they," media outlets quoted Imam Youssef, a prominent leader of the coalition as saying.
However, the Islamic parties have proposed the release of political prisoners and the reopening of broadcasters that have been shut down following the ouster of Morsi as pre-conditions for negotiations.
The coalition has also insisted on keeping up peaceful opposition against the country’s military leaders.
The leaders of coalition have been organizing regular demonstrations to condemn the interim government’s harsh crackdown on Muslim Brotherhood and the arrest of its leaders and members.
They have been demanding justice for Brotherhood supporters killed in the army crackdown following Morsi’s ouster.
The interim government took power after Morsi was ousted by the army on July 3.
