Four rockets fired at Israeli occupied territories

Sirens have been heard in the occupyed territories after rockets, reportedly fired from Lebanon, hit the area.

Two of the four blasts hit the occupied territories on Thursday, according to Lebanese sources.

The sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said two pairs of rockets aimed at the occupied territories were fired from the Batoulieh valley near the Palestinian Refugee Camp of Rashidieh, southeast of Lebanon’s Tyre.

One pair of rockets shot past the border into the area while the other fell in the border village of Alma in Lebanon, one source said.

Israeli media reported the sound of explosions in Nahariya and Acre.

The Israeli army claimed that the Iron Dome missile defense system intercepted one of the rockets, according to Israeli daily Haaretz.

The blasts which have reportedly been caused by Katyusha rockets caused no casualty.

According to the Israeli TV, Tel Aviv is in a state of confusion with maximum alert.
