The Syrian army forces discovered vehicles with Saudi and American number plates while clearing areas in al-Qaboun.
The number plates have been discovered in one of the strongholds of terrorist militants, an army officer said, noting that the cars have entered Syria through Jordan and Turkey borders to transfer terrorists and weapons into Syria.
The Syrian army found several cars with Turkish number plates among the equipment left by militants in the city of al-Qaryatayn in Homs province in June.
Meanwhile in al-Qaboun operation, the Syrian army forces managed to free some civilians who have been used as human shield by terrorist groups. The terrorists besieged these people’s houses and didn’t let them leave their houses.
The conflict in Syria started in March 2011, when pro-reform protests turned into a massive insurgency following the intervention of Western and regional states.
The unrest, which took in terrorist groups from across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, has transpired as one of the bloodiest conflicts in recent history.
