Sunday’s overnight attacks on Gaza have reportedly caused no casualties as they struck uninhabited areas.
This came after Israeli media reported that some rockets were fired into the occupied territories.
The Israeli military has also shut a crossing for the transfer of goods to the Gaza Strip and said it will remain closed until further notice.
The Israeli regime persistently denies over 1.5 million people in the besieged enclave their basic rights, including the freedom of movement and the right to decent living, work, health and education.
The Israeli military frequently carries out airstrikes and other attacks on the Gaza Strip, saying the actions are being conducted for defensive purposes. However, in violation of international law, disproportionate force is always used and civilians are often killed or injured.
Gaza has been blockaded by the Israeli regime since 2007, a situation that has caused a decline in the standard of living, unprecedented levels of unemployment, and unrelenting poverty.
