Hezbollah chief said in a Sunday message to the Iranian president- elect that the Arab, Muslim and oppressed countries consider Iran’s next chief executive as a source of hope and inspiration.
Nasrallah said the Iranian people have created the political epic as advised by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
He added that the resistance forces look up to Iran as the Islamic Republic has been the sole source of support for suppressed nations.
Hassan Rohani won the 11th round of Iran’s presidential election with voters’ strong support.
The final vote count on Friday showed Rohani collected 18,613,329 votes from a total of 36,704,156.
Earlier, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon also felicitated Iran’s president-elect on his victory in the June 14 vote.
