According to local media, some foreign militants were also among dead ones.
Moreover, at least 27 other armed militants were killed in an army attack to the district of Khirbet Martin in countryside of Idlib.
The army launched its massive operation on the rebels in the Idlib province near the Turkish border on Saturday in a bid to root out the "armed gangs."
The operation in Idlib came after Syrian troops regained the control of al-Qusayr strategic town following a month-long fighting with the armed militants.
