Several Jordanian militants fighting against the government in Syria have returned to their country.

According to media reports at least 20 extremist Salafists returned to Jordan from Syria’s southwestern city of Dara’a.

Following their return, a terrorist group affiliated with al-Nusra Front, named Jabhat al-Nusra al-Shaam, asked Jordan not to send fighters without consultation with the group.

On Saturday, Salafists in Jordan informed of death of another one of their members in Syria.

At least 5 members of Jordanian Salafist community have died during the last week clashes in Syria.

Syria has been struggling with a massively foreign-backed insurgency that has left the country with a bloody turmoil that has killed thousands of people.

Foreign militants from across the Europe, as well as regional Arab countries infiltrate the country to join terrorist groups in their fight against Syria.
