George Sabra, the acting head of the so-called opposition Syrian National Coalition, announced the decision on Thursday.
"Lives of Syrians are now more important than political solutions," he claimed.
"The Coalition will not participate in any conferences," he told reporters in the Turkish city of Istanbul.
Opposition’s announcement follows Syrian army recent advances in different areas of the country, especially the strategic town of al-Qusayr which was one of the main bastions for terrorist groups.
The coalition which has shown signs of deep divides in the past months is facing with great internal power struggles that have left the group unable to make any decision about how to continue their bloody insurgency against the government.
Last week, the group also was failed to find a common ground on the so-called Geneva 2 peace conference proposed by Moscow and Washington.
The group has previously claimed it was open in principle to any peace initiatives.
Syrian government, in return, announced on Wednesday that it has no preconditions to take part in the talks.
