Lebanon’s Hezbollah Movement has strongly condemned rocket attacks that hit a southern neighborhood of capital Beirut.

Two rockets hit the southern district of Dahiya in Beirut on Sunday, wounding at least four people and damaging several buildings.

Lebanese al-Manar Satellite news network quoted one of Hezbollah top members as saying that such violations “are only in the interest of the Israeli occupying regime.”

Hezbollah’s arch foe, Israel, has been making provocative moves in Lebanon’s neighbor, Syria, which have largely raised fears of more instability in the region.
