On Wednesday, Bahrain government spokeswoman Samira Rajab said that an unmanned aircraft "was found in the sea in north Bahrain, mainly between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, two weeks ago."
She claimed that it had been proved that the drone was used by Iran.
"Instead of making baseless claims, Bahrain should meet the legitimate demands of its people," ISNA news agency quoted a source at Iranian Foreign Ministry as saying on Thursday.
Bahrain ruling regime has been engaging in a brutal crackdown of pro-democracy protests which started in mid-February 2011, inspired by the popular revolutions that toppled the dictators of Tunisia and Egypt.
Dozens of people have been killed in the crackdown, and the security forces have arrested hundreds, including doctors and nurses accused of treating injured revolutionaries.
