An image showing the Syrian president’s wife taking her children to a Damascus school on foot has put an end to rumors about their exit from the country.
A Facebook page belonging to President Bashar al-Assad’s supporters published the image of Asma al Assad, the president’s wife and her two kids, walking in Damascus streets. The page also contains a video footage showing president Assad during a visit to the home of one of Army’s martyrs.
The Al-Quds Al-Arabi newspaper reported that the picture has been taken recently in ‘Haye el-Mohajerin’ district close to presidential palace in Damascus.
This comes as Syria’s enemies have once again claimed that the Syrian president and his family fled the country in yet another example of mounting psychological warfare against the Syrian government and nation.
To put an end to the rumors, President Assad and his wife paid a visit to the family of one of army’s martyrs on Thursday and paid tribute to them, Al-Alam News Channel reported.
