Syrian opposition admits extremists’ turmoil

Syrian exiled opposition groups confess the turbulences created by extremist elements as well as the terrorist group of al-Nusra Front, saying that they could not be able to infiltrate among Syrian people to gain national support.

According to Syrian newspaper of al-Watan quoted a source close to opposition groups resided in Paris, opposition coalition has confessed such failure in its meeting in Doha, Alalam news channel reported.


These opposition figures stated that they expected to promote their influence in great numbers of northern villages of Syria by the help of militant groups named “Free Syrian Army”, the report added.


The report also noted that the Syrian opposition is disappointed about this matter and scare to lose all the Western supports in case of admitting such reality.


Divisions also deepen within Syria’s opposition coalition one day after choosing a naturalized US citizen as the head of its so-called interim government.

 

At least 12 key members of Syria's main opposition group, the so-called Syrian National Coalition (SNC), said earlier taht they had suspended their membership over the choice of Ghassan Hitto.
