Iran’s Foreign Minister Ali-Akbar Salehi says the Islamic Republic firmly believes that the solution to the ongoing crisis in Syria should be sought within the Arab nation.
In an exclusive interview with al-Alam news channel in Cairo on Thursday, Salehi said Iran seeks a peaceful solution to the Syrian crisis, which would be Syrian-Syrian and allow the Syrian nation to choose its suitable options and pave the way for negotiations between the Syrian government and opposition groups.
Salehi further noted that Syrians are the only ones to determine the fate and future of their country.
