"The number of dead rose to 72 civilians, including 21 children and 13 women. The number included 9 families at least, in what is considered the largest massacre by Turkish warplanes since its intervention in Syria," Rami 'Abdel-Rahman of SOHR claimed.
Reports said on Thursday that at least 29 civilians, including eight children, lost their lives in new airstrikes by Turkish warplanes on an ISIL bastion in Northern Syria.
The activists told local media that the airstrikes were conducted on the flashpoint town of al-Bab, which Turkish forces have been trying to grab from the ISIS militants, FNA reported.
