A convoy of vehicles of the ISIL terrorists came under Syrian airstrikes near the ancient city of Palmyra (Tadmur) in the Eastern part of Homs province that killed scores of terrorists.
Battlefield sources disclosed that the Syrian air force carried out airstrikes on the gathering centers of the ISIL terrorists in al-Sukhneh and also on al Sukhneh Palmyra axis in Eastern Homs.
In a relevant development on Sunday, the Syrian Army troops repelled ISIL's offensives in Eastern Homs after inflicting dozens of casualties on the terrorists.
ISIL's offensives from Rahoum and Unq al Hawa on government forces' strongholds in Jubb al-Jarreh and Maksar al-Hassaan were fended off by the Syrian army troops, leaving scores of ISIL's fighters dead or wounded.
A large volume of ISIL's ammunition also was detonated in the attacks.
Reports said on Friday that two more senior commanders of Ahrar al Sham terrorist group were killed in fierce clashes with the Syrian army soldiers in Northern Homs.
Large-scale offensive of the Syrian Army troops on Ahrar al-Sham's positions near the village of al-Ghajar left scores of the terrorists dead, including Maher al Tamer and Abu Nabeel Delli.
Ahamd al Najjar and Khaled Delli were also killed in the clashes.
Ahrar's military equipment also sustained major damage in the attacks; FNA reported.
