According a military in source Aleppo City told told Al-Masdar News that while the Russians attack Fatah Halab from the air, the Syrian Armed Forces began moving their ground units towards the Kafr Hamra, where they are expected to attack in the coming days.
Since the capture of the Bani Zaid District on Wednesday, the Syrian Armed Forces have been mobilizing soldiers from the 4th Mechanized Division and Syrian Republican Guard units in preparation for their next round of attacks against Fatah Halab.
Very credible reports emerged suggesting Jaish al Fatah is withdrawing much of its fighting force from the Latakia governorate in a last-ditch effort to turn the tables on the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) in Aleppo.
Terrorists reinforcements were observed arriving in both western Aleppo and southern Aleppo – Jaish al-Fatah is expected to launch at least one major offensive on government positions in the province in the very near future.
Jaish al-Fatah not only hopes to relieve distressed, and now besieged, rebels in Aleppo city but also possibly to cut off SAA supply lines to the governorate’s provincial capital.
On the other hand, the terrorists redeployment significantly weakens their Latakia frontline while also exposing Idlib from its western flank.
However, if the SAA was to take control of Aleppo city, the Jaish al-Fatah leadership is well aware that Idlib province will be its next target, threatening the existential survival of the terrorist coalition.
