"The ISIL has executed eight militants for escaping the battlefield near the city of Hawija," the Arabic-language media outlets quoted an informed security sources as saying on Sunday.
The Takfiri terrorists also beheaded seven civilians of Hawija city which is located 55 kilometers to the Southwest of Kirkuk on spying charges.
The ISIL has resorted to conducting odd the most cruel methods of extermination to intimidate the people.
In early May, the ISIS captured and burnt all members of a family in an area under its control near the city of Kirkuk in Northeastern Iraq after they attempted to escape from the terrorists-held territories.
All five members of the Iraqi family, including three children, were burnt for trying to escape from Al-Riyadh region to the West of Kirkuk city, the Arabic-language Ara News quoted an unnamed local source as saying.
More than 50 mass graves have been discovered in the territory formerly controlled by the ISIL Takfiri terrorist group in Iraq.
UN Special Envoy for Iraq Jan Kubis told the Security Council that evidence of the "heinous crimes" committed by the militants in Iraq were being uncovered as territory is retaken from ISIS.
"More than 50 mass graves have been discovered so far in several regions of Iraq," he said.
Kubis announced that three graves containing a total of up to 40 sets of remains were found in a football field in the city of Ramadi on April 19.
Ramadi, the provincial capital of Anbar, was liberated in December, almost one year after it fell into the hands of ISIS.
Thousands of displaced families who had left their homes in the Western Iraqi city of Ramadi have returned home after the city was retaken from ISIL militants.
Also in May, the ISIL Takfiri terrorist group buried dozens of senior militants for escaping the battlefield in the strategic village of Bashir in Kirkuk province, and also executed a two-year female baby in her father's arms.
At least 45 ISIL terrorists were buried alive in Kirkuk province after escaping a recent battle which resulted in the Takfiri terrorist group's defeat in Bashir village.
The ISIL buried its disobedient militants in a mass grave in al-Qayara region in Nineveh province.
Meantime, the ISIL hanged a two-year girl, named Fatema Izzam, during its recent raid on Zaqniha village to the East of al-Bara region as she was lying in her father's arms.
ISIL's defeat in Bashir village has weakened the terrorist group, and its commanders and ringleaders are now trying to give a message to their fighters by making an example of defectors, FNA reported.
