Following the liberation of the Sajar Bridge, the Iraqi Armed Forces pushed south towards Fallujah’s northern entrance, killing several terrorists from the Islamic State in the process.
Meanwhile, west of Fallujah, the Iraqi Army’s 7th Division liberated the village of Albu Ubeid after advancing eastward along the Euphrates River.
According to the Iraqi Defense Ministry, the Iraqi Army killed an estimated 20 ISIS terrorists before declaring the village of Albu ‘Ubeid under their control.
