The two victims were supporters of the influential Iraqi Shiite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr.
Al-Sadr released a statement condemning the government's use of force against unarmed protesters Friday, saying he supports the "people's revolution."
Friday Protest in Baghdad Green Zone
Yesterday supporters of Iraqi cleric Moqtada al-Sadr and other people broke into Baghdad Green Zone for the second time in three week.
Iraqi security forces opened fire on protesters who stormed into the Green Zone and entered the cabinet building, drawing calls for "revolt "from Moqtada al-Sadr.
Late on Friday Iraqi PM Haider al Abadi in a televised speech, condemned the breach of Baghdad's heavily fortified Green Zone by protesters.
"What happened today of storming the government's facilities and tampering public property, cannot be accepted," Abadi said. "The law must take its course with every transgressor."
