"Abu Yousef al-Jazrawi, one of the senior commanders of the ISIS with Saudi nationality, was killed in the Syrian fighter jets' raid on a jeep carrying al-Jazrawi and his three bodyguards," the sources said.
"The ISIL jeep, reportedly carrying al-Jazrawi, was completely set ablaze in the air attack," the sources added.
Last week, Russia’s Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said that his country's aviation carried out 87 sorties over the targets of the ISIL terrorist group in Syria’s Raqqa and Deir Ezzur provinces.
"Over the past four days the Russian Aerospace Forces carried out 87 sorties to attack ISIS facilities in the Raqqa and Deir Ezzur provinces," Konashenkov said.
"The Russian fighter jets also conducted several airstrikes around Arak region near Palmyra to support the government forces and self-defense militia units' offensives on terrorists in the area, resulting in seven command points of ISIL terrorists in this area destroyed," he said.
